Multi Residential
One of the major concerns of a property owner and manager when
considering a toilet replacement program is whether or not the
new toilets will flush properly. This concern stems from problems
related to the early designs of ultra low-flow toilets. For
the most part, the first six-litre toilets introduced to the
Canadian market did not perform well. Many property owners and
managers had such bad experiences with poor flushing toilets
that it resulted in the eventual removal of these fixtures.
Fortunately, most of todays six-litre toilets not only
operate with less water but also perform as well, if not better,
than the toilets being removed.
Water consumption can usually be reduced by 30% to 40%. The
typical payback on such a project is between 12 and 36 months,
with the majority less than a 24-month period. The process for
a Water Matrix multi-residential project is very similar
to our commercial and institutional projects. The first step
is the analysis of water bill data to establish the base water
consumption and quantify the savings potential. The next step
is a detailed on-site audit. The audit information is then entered
into our proprietary software to confirm the savings calculation.
A report is generated and provided to the customer detailing
the exact cost of the project, the total projected savings and
the resulting payback period. This audit and analysis is normally
provided at no cost to the customer.
When the customer decides to proceed, Water Matrix contracts
and manages the project to ensure that all fixtures are properly
installed and set up to operate effectively. Proper installation
procedures ensure that projected savings are achieved.
Being the first company in Canada devoted exclusively to water
conservation, Water Matrix has gained significant expertise
in this field. Our experience and volume of business allows
us to provide aggressive pricing however, it is our unparalleled
attention to customer service that has earned us the respect
and repeat business of our customers. Our guarantee is that
our job is not complete until our customer is completely satisfied.
