These results identify the potential for a startling 28 million+ clogged toilets per month across North America. Are you also a victim of frequent toilet clogs? Overflowing toilet bowls? Water damage? Look no further!Penguin’s Patented Overflow Protected Toilets will give you peace of mind and water damage protection regardless of your property type or location.
Penguin Toilet Features
Penguin toilets offer maximum mitigation to potential water damage caused by toilet bowl overflows. Protection coupled with a classic craftsman design, elongated bowl (optional) and a comfortable ADA compliant seating height make Penguin a perfect fit for family homes, commercial offices & institutions.
Secondary Drain System In All Models
Every Penguin toilet is equipped with a patented secondary trapway that allows wastewater to flow in a different direction should the primary trapway become clogged.
Overflow Protection Ports In Bowl
The Penguin toilet incorporates three (3) overflow protection ports in the upper rear section of every bowl. In the event of a clog where water levels begin to rise, these ports will empty additional water to the secondary drain system, stopping an overflow.
Back-Up Rim Jet Overflow Protection
In the rare scenario that the overflow ports in the rear of the bowl become clogged with waste or toilet paper, the rim jets on the underside of the inner bowl act as a secondary layer of protection, and will also send water to the second trapway.
12" & 10" Rough In Depths Available
Penguin toilets are available in standard and short rough in depths, making it an ideal candidate for both new construction projects and renovation work where 12" rough ins may not be available.
Overflow Myths
Despite popular belief, many toilet overflows are not caused by over-flushing while a clog is present. While this was common with older high-volume toilets, most high-efficiency toilets used today can flush 2-3 times when clogged before overflowing. So how do toilet bowl overflows most commonly occur?
Most overflows in toilets manufactured after 1997 occur when toilet parts fail and water leaks from tank to bowl while the toilet is clogged. With nowhere for the extra water to evacuate, it spills over the bowl edge and causes water damage, repair costs and possibly insurance claims. Here are some of the issues that can cause from your bowl to your tank.

3 Common Reasons Your Toilet Clogs
Children
Curious young hands often drop small toys or objects into the toilet. Without a thought, these objects are often flushed, causing blockages in the trapway of your toilet. This can lead to immediate clogging, or a slow buildup of waste and toilet paper that fills the trapway over time and causes a complete blockage. Are there kids in your household? If so,Penguin is a perfect toilet for your young family!
Seniors
Family homes and healthcare facilities with senior occupants may experience higher volumes of clogs. Due to common medications among seniors, elderly users may have difficult to flush solid waste that can cause clogs. In other more sensitive situations, memory loss and disabilities can lead to accidental flushing of foreign objects. Penguin toilets reduce the risk of water damage from clogs in all seniors’ applications, including family homes, long-term care, retirement living and hospital environments.
Vandalism/Misuse
Public restrooms are often misused/vandalized, leading to clogs and toilet bowl overflows. With little accountability for their actions in public spaces, users will often boldly flush items that are not meant for disposal via toilet. This includes garbage, paper towels, food waste and even narcotics. Penguin can stop water damage from overflows in public bathroom settings across multiple verticals, including municipal buildings, restaurants, retail properties, shelters, hospitals and more.
