Post Secondary Water Conservation Process

1. Pre-Audit
We’ll review information supplied as it relates to your facility: water consumption data (domestic and non-domestic), population, demographics, building age, and square footage. This information will be used to identify if your site has an opportunity for savings that meets your criteria. We’ll also estimate the overall size and scope of your project.

2. On-Site Audit
We’ll then proceed with a detailed on-site inspection. Key to this review is establishing the ratio of domestic versus non-domestic water consumption. The inspection includes a complete and thorough review of the facility, and we record the flow measurements of all water-consuming fixtures.

3. Analysis
Using our proprietary computer analysis, we enter the collected data along with other key information about your facility - water and sewer charges, population stats, operational hours and days per year - to develop an accurate portrayal of your facility’s consumption patterns. You’ll then receive our proposal identifying the recommended new equipment to be installed, the total cost of the installation, the projected cost avoidance, and expected payback.

4. Implementation
We choose professional installers from our national network and we’ll ensure every new fixture performs efficiently and effectively to maximize your savings. We give every project our personal attention to detail, using only quality materials, and our total commitment to customer satisfaction.

5. Monitoring
Water Matrix™ can provide water consumption monitoring, should it be necessary. Pre and post water consumption data are analyzed and the information is translated into a comprehensive savings report.

6. Measurement & Verification
Water Matrix will commission a project once all measures have been implemented and provide you with a detailed report showcasing every fixture that was installed and their water consumption values.
